The Tata GeMS Program is a combination of an online & inclass program designed for junior managers of Tata group companies. The program focuses on several aspects of managerial functions that are critical to their effectiveness. The program aims at building general
management capabilities of participants by helping them acquire an integrated perspective on management situations. The program covers three functional area: Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Development. It also covers decision making situations that enable participants to identify and understand managerial challenges.

  • Develop competencies and skills essential for mid-management roles.
  • Provide contemporary management education through imparting contextual and functional knowledge in Marketing, Finance, HRM and some topics in general management
  • Provide guidance/approaches to think through various business strategies in diverse competitive scenarios.
  • The program is offered twice a week for three and half months. At the end of the program, participants are awarded a completion certificate jointly awarded by TMTC and Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune.
The on-line program allocates the time on various modules in the following manner:
  •  General Management - 6 hours
  •  Finance - 12 hours
  •  Marketing - 12 hours
  •  HRM- 12 hours
The in-class part of this program covers cases and management situations reflecting management experiences and provides participants with an opportunity to discuss critical business issues & challenges. This in-class session also equips participants with soft skills required to become a successful manager.

  • Blended learning - combination of on-line sessions followed by physical classroom sessions
  • Coverage of key business functions – HR, Finance, Marketing and General Management
  • Time effective - Two classes per week between 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Short Duration - Three and half months (about 42 hours)
All TATA GeMS modules are taught by highly qualified faculty.

Fees

INR 35,000/- (Thirty five thousand) plus taxes as applicable.
This is a blended e-learning program and the fee includes course fee(online and in-contact),
and cost of instructional material/programme kit for participants excluding travel cost for participant.

Requirements to Receive a Completion Certificate
Attendance :- At least 80 % of online Classes and full attendance for in - class training.
Exam:-Completion of the final examination for the various modules, if offered by faculty.
Assignment :-Completion of at least 80% of the assignments given during online classes.
