Sometimes planning and execution feels like a battle. The fire-fighting, the quick fixes, the expediting...Common issues include:
  • Most projects are significantly delayed
  • Most projects are significantly over-budget
  • Frequent cash flow issues
  • Frequent re-work
  • Frequent customer complaints
  • Pressure to add more resources
  • Unable to make sufficient profit
These chronic problems have NOT BEEN SOLVED by hiring the best talent, exerting maximum effort, or investing in the latest technology. They are symptoms of deeper issues - related to management methods, measurements and systems.

Theory of Constraints (TOC)

The Theory of Constraints (TOC) is a suite of management tools introduced by Dr. Eliyahu Goldratt in his bestselling book "The Goal". Over 5,000 organizations around the world have achieved breakthrough results with
TOC, including well-known names such as Intel, Cadillac, Texas Instruments, Boeing, Lucent Technologies, Ford Motors, Samsonite, Bethlehem Steel, Pratt&Whitney, General Electric, and Procter & Gamble.
